Photo Restoration & Makeover Guide :
Read Carefully For Best Results
CHOOSE PRINT SIZES CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL
• Choose print sizes that are close to the size of your original (or smaller). Enlargements may highlight damage and look blurry.
• Photos will be restored or be madeover to original proportions (height and width). This may result in white borders when printed on standard size paper.
DON'T SEND BLURRY PRINTS
• We can restore and improve most
photos, but out-of-focus originals will still appear blurry.
WRITING ON PHOTOS
• If you would like the writing or the date stamp on your original photo removed or left alone, please tell us in the "additional instructions" area on the order form.
TEXTURED PAPER
• If your original is on highly textured paper or has a pattern throughout, some texture will remain visible even after the photo has
been restored.
WRINKLED PHOTOS
• If your photo is not perfectly flat, please place something heavy (like a book) on the lid of the scanner when scanning the photo to disk, This will greatly increase the quality of the scan.
SEVERELY DAMAGED PHOTOS - NOT ALL CAN BE RESTORED
• If large portions of the photo are missing (especially faces) it is often not possible to restore or makeover the photo. In these cases, you will be contacted, and there will be no charge for the order.
• With certain types of damage we may send you smaller prints than ordered to ensure the highest quality result.
• If you have asked us to turn a black & white photo into color, but the original is severely damaged, we may restore the photo to black & white only to ensure the highest quality result.
PROVIDE SPECIFIC COLOR INSTRUCTIONS
• If we are turning a black & white photo into color, be as specific as possible in the color instructions, using the color guide in this brochure. If you do not give us specific instructions, we will use our best judgment. but the results cannot be guaranteed.
MISSING FACES CANNOT BE RESTORED OR MADE OVER
